Spiritual Practices to Become Like Jesus: A Summer Series
Sundays, May 24-September 6
What does it actually look like to become more like Jesus — not just believe the right things about him, but be genuinely formed by him in the way we think, relate, spend, listen, and live?
This summer we are exploring fifteen untraditional spiritual disciplines drawn from Scripture that shape us from the inside out. These aren't the familiar disciplines of prayer and fasting, though those matter deeply. These are the everyday, often overlooked habits of heart and mind that Jesus himself modeled and that the New Testament calls us into: loving enemies, making peace, seeing Christ in others, holding money loosely, listening well, thinking clearly, and learning to trust God when answers are hidden.
Formation doesn't happen by accident. It happens by choosing, week after week, to practice the way of Jesus until it becomes the shape of our lives.
